Last year turnover was £2.5m, with profits of £400,000, while this year turnover is expected to double to £5m, and to exceed £1m in profits. In March it secured a £2m contract with NHS (National Health Service) Scotland for its award-winning software systems.

Nugensis specialise in providing integrated healthcare applications for the health and social care sectors. Our patient centric applications are designed by frontline staff for frontline staff, creating efficiencies of services for the NHS whilst improving patient care.

As a market leader we provide bespoke solutions to enhance patient safety for acute, hospital at home and social care service admissions. Our flagship applications Ward View, Care View and Task View have provided large NHS Trusts including NHS Borders, NHS Greater Glasgow and NHS Trafford with considerable tangible results providing real-time patient monitoring where and when it is required.

Products include:
WardView – improves ward based Patient Care at a glance by replacing manual whiteboards in Wards with a digital touch screen
TaskView – provides mobile access electronic patient lists, National Early Warning Score Observations, Hospital at Night from any location
CareView – provides Hospital at Home care view of patients, assessments, treatments and care plans at a glance whilst in their home
InfoView – highlevel visual real time graphical report of patient, ward, hospital and board wide activity, KPI’s, discharge etc
Paediatrics View –a Childrens View for monitoring the care of children, this is now Live in all wards in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children Yorkhill, Glasgow
Pharmacy View – is a triage and tracking system for Patients being cared for by pharmacists to ensure drug plans are monitored and up to date
Admissions View – is effectively the Doctors Version of WardView focusing on assessments
EMRS – Emergency Retreival is our Air Ambulance system
Patient Satisfaction (PSAT) App – we have built an app that allows patient to provide feedback at the bed side and it links to WardView highlighting which Patients are happy or not, allowing Nurses to address issues quickly
