Request ehealth (digital in health) expertise for eHealth Summer University 2015 and eHealth Awards
Castres-Mazamet Technopole (CMT) has a strong specialisation in e-health and organises since 9 years the eHealth Summer University.
This is an international event that will take place on 1-3 July 2015 in Castres (1h far from Toulouse, South West France). For this event, Castres-Mazamet Technopole is looking for foreign companies and research centers having ehealth solutions and/or projects:
1/ To apply to the eHealth Awards that are open to all, businesses, researchers, students, at the national and international level, who have developed a solution or an innovative application in the field of eHealth, the eHealth Awards not only a living observatory of digital healthcare innovation but also a veritable seal of approval allowing to identify the champions of tomorrow.
Sponsored among others by the Pierre Fabre Laboratories, Alere, Thales and Consort NT, the eHealth Awards provide project leaders an opportunity to boost their innovation, to build business partnerships and promote their solution to a wide audience.
5 categories will be rewarded during the Awards Ceremony which is open to the public and will be held on the 2nd of July 2015 during the eHealth Summer University:
1. Telemedicine (Teleconsultation, teleexpertise, telesurveillance and teleassistance)
2. Autonomy and homecare (Home automation, geolocation, fall detectors...)
3. mHealth (Mobile applications, mobile telemedicine …)
4. Social networks (Internet portals/spaces dedicated to the collection of information, discussions and sharing of knowledge between patients/families/caregivers/healthcare providers and professionals …
5. Student projects (Projects conducted by students in the field of eHealth)
Real springboard for innovations in the field of health technologies, the e-Health Awards provide project leaders a visibility into the Press and among the main actors, policy makers and funders of the sector, and a recognition among health professionals. For this 2015 edition, the finalists will be invited to come and present their project on the 1st of July 2015, to a Jury in a public session which will be broadcast live on the eHealth web TV.
Beyond the financial reward of up to 4000 € and recognition by a Jury of experts, the eHealth Awards also act as a lever and accelerator for the winning projects by giving them a unique showcase.
Candidates have until May 19, 2015 midnight, to submit their application on the eHealth Summer University website. www.universite-esante.com/en

The event is free of charge and is a great opportunity for companies and projects leaders to highlight their innovation.

Support in digital and ehealth collaborative projects and partnerships
Castres-Mazamet Technopole develop its expertise in partnership for collaborative projects. The Technopole has good knowledge of innovation collaborative project and support companies to submit European or national collaborative projects.
The Technopole is used to establish collaborations and partnerships between different regionas of the world (Catalonia, Norway ...) and France.
The Technopole can deliver expertise to identify skillness, specially in digital and e-health sectors, and initiate partnership and collaboration (research, market, ....).
Castres-Mazamet Technopole organizes the eHealth Summer University, an international event only focused on eHealth and that will take place on 1-3 July 2015 in Castres (South West France, close to Toulouse).
During the event, Castres-Mazamet Technopole offers the opportunity for foreign companies to meet ehealth key players and to discuss European ehealth projects with searchers and companies.
